Contributions pour in for Nana Patekar's Naam Foundation for fund drought relief to farmers

NAAM foundation has been started by Nana Patekar and Makarand Anaspure in September 2015. This has emerged after devastating conditions of drought & listening to agony of drought affected farmers in Maharashtra.

NAAM is a manifestation of human spirit in response to the outbreak due to lamented turmoil happening around. NAAM is a movement with honest intentions to facilitate development of disadvantaged villages and lives of people which has now turned into a giant leap. Hope this movement will keep colouring the lives of people in a massive way.

Mission of NAAM foundation is to build sustainable & progressive society by facilitating development in rural areas by working on different issues like infrastructure, education, employment, food & so on. India would be superpower in coming years only if our villages get self-sufficient & developed.

TOI Nana Patekar was inundated with doting fans when he arrived at the registrar's office for the registration of his new foundation. Patekar has established an organisation which will provide aid to farmers overcome by drought conditions. According to ABP Majha, the adulation was not limited to Patekar's stardom. While many fans clicked selfies with Patekar, several also offered donations for the cause.

In fact, there was a flood of contributions after the officials realised why Nana Patekar had arrived there. In particular, a tea seller working in the area offered Rs 2000 for the cause
